Um, re-reading that one might be justified in assuming that Cam had some interest in Male backs....not in that way:-) We were having a conversation about what is 'attractive' and I had a fairly atypical explanation melt-down (always a verbal thing,-let me write it and It'll be closer to what I meant in the first place). Hence the blog. Following; that's why I mentioned Cam. Ergh. Shutup already Cath.

ReplyDeleteAs I recall, I was far more interested in you illustrating the communicative ability of eyes, rather than what exactly you find attractive about the male back. You should try to post some examples of eyes both good and bad.
That wouldn't work I'm afraid. The communication of eyes (or lack thereof) is a multi-dimensional and many-layered thing. It depends on moods, places, smells, sounds, relationships, lighting, blah blah.
ReplyDeleteI could post hundreds of 2d images of eyes and we would all interpret away to our heart's content. I don't think the 'eye/secrets' image can be successfully deconstructed actually. It's just poetic and that's that.:-)
